    Duties and Responsibilities:

    • Create purchase orders: Collect the required data and generate a purchase order in the accounting system with the proper project and general ledger coding. Ensure the PO has the proper approval. Communicate the PO number to the staff with the responsibility for placing the order.
    • Monitor incoming orders: Monitor incoming orders, with focus on ensuring accuracy of pricing, delivery dates, and item counts. Provide updates on delivery delays and back orders.
    • Reconcile vendor invoices: Match vendor invoices to the related purchase order and reconcile variances with the staff who placed the order.
    • Work Disputed Invoices: Assist the Project Manager with clearing disputed invoices.
    • Maintain purchase records: Maintain detailed computerized records of purchases, including quantities ordered and received, shipping information, and costs associated with the purchase.

    Requirements for the role:

    • High school diploma or GED certificate
    • Bachelor's degree or experience in supply chain management (preferred)
    • Computer proficiency, particularly with spreadsheet programs
    • Organizational skills
