    • This is a remote position but you must reside in MN, WI or IA.


    Presbyterian Homes & Services has an opening for an on-call RN to provide after hours and weekend telephone triage support to our Assisted Living Communities.

    This position will office out of one of our PHS locations (work location has some flexibility. This position requires a current RN license. Assisted Living Nursing and/or phone triage experience is preferred.

    This is an on-call position, with possible hours from 6:00 p.m.-6:00 a.m. (12 hour shift) Monday - Friday, and full days on the weekends.

    Responsibilities


    The Telephone Triage Nurse (RN) is responsible for providing telephone response and delegation to the Resident Assistants (Home Health Aids) working within the Assisted Living settings of PHS and requires competencies in clinical assessment, computer skills and customer service.

    The Telephone Triage Nurse is responsible for knowing and supporting regulatory and clinical practices in providing direction and clinical (over- the- phone) assessment to support the residents in providing high quality care.

    Qualifications


    • Registered nurse with current licensure with the State Board of Nursing in state(s) in which he/she practices.
    • Interest in gerontological nursing, rehabilitative and restorative clinical practices.
    • Assisted Living nursing and/or phone triage experience is preferred.
    • Demonstrated compatibility with PHS's mission and operating philosophies.
    • Demonstrated ability to read, write, speak and understand the English language to communicate with all customers.
