    Job Summary and Qualifications

    • Under the general direction of the Director/Supervisor of Respiratory Therapy, performs diagnostic and therapeutic procedures ordered by a physician. Duties may include: 
    • Medical gas administration, aerosol therapy 
    • Obtaining and analyzing blood specimens 
    • Performing patient testing 
    • Operating and maintaining various types of respiratory and cardiopulmonary equipment. 
    • Additional responsibilities include completing documentation in patient records, cleaning equipment and maintaining safety and infection control practices. 

    What qualifications you will need: 

    • Currently enrolled in an AMA approved Respiratory Therapy program. Maintains a GPA of 2.0 or greater. 
    • Current BLS certification, 
    • Current Kansas Student License (or within 60 days of hire) from the KBHA. 
    • Clinical experience through their Clinical Rotations, 
    • Strong interpersonal skills.
