    The Chief Operating Officer ("COO") role is a highly-visible opportunity to support the exceptional organic and inorganic growth that the company has undergone and is continuing to achieve. This role will be responsible for all of PI's operations globally including a number of assembly plants in the US, in Europe and in China, as well as the global supply chain management. This role reports directly into the CEO of Process Insights.

    The COO manages all operations, assembly, supply chain, strategic sourcing, and facilities activities globally. This is a critical role responsible for driving profitability, productivity, and quality expansion while supporting our accelerated growth. This role is also responsible for deploying standardized key performance indicators ("KPIs") and operational metrics, implementing lean manufacturing practices and mentoring our operations and supply chain team. This role will ideally be based in Houston, TX.

    Duties and Responsibilities:

    · Provide management to staff and leadership to the organization that aligns with the company's business plan and overall strategic vision.

    · Assist executive team members in creating, growing and building a world class, industry leading organization.

    · Drive company results from both an operational and financial perspective working closely with the CFO, CEO, CCO and other key executive team members.

    · Partner with the CFO to achieve favorable financial results with respect to sales, profitability, cash flow, mergers and acquisitions, systems, reporting and controls.

    · Evaluate and drive assembly site and product line consolidation opportunities within the PI global operations footprint.

    · Set challenging ("stretch") and realistic goals for growth, performance and profitability.

    · Create effective measurement tools to gauge the efficiency and effectiveness of internal and external processes.

    · Provide accurate and timely reports outlining the operational condition of the company.

    · Spearhead the development, communication and implementation of effective growth strategies and processes.

    · Work with other C-level executives on budgeting, forecasting and resource allocation programs.

    · Work closely with senior management team to create, implement and roll out plans for operational processes, internal infrastructures, reporting systems and company policies all designed to foster safety, growth, profitably and efficiencies within the company.

    · Motivate and encourage employees at all levels as one of the key leaders in the company including but not limited to professional staff, management level employees and executive leadership team members.

    · Foster a growth oriented, positive and encouraging environment while keeping employees and management accountable to company policies, procedures and guidelines.

    · Ensure specified corporate goals and annual operating plans ("AOP") targets relating to revenue, gross margins and operating margins are met.

    · Manage to forecast and have a tight control of operating expenses and operating metrics to provide visibility into EBITDA and cash flow performance.

    · Ensure all required quality and regulatory standards are met.

    · Develop processes for maximizing safety, quality, productivity, and stewardship.

    · Drive a culture of continuous improvement and performance enhancement.

    · Develop and maintain standard operating procedures and process flow maps.

    · Employ 80/20 and Lean Manufacturing / One-piece-Flow methodologies and tools in order to accomplish business objectives.

    · Ability to travel between 50-70%.

    · All other duties as assigned.

    Qualifying Attributes and Skills

    · BA/BS degree required. Engineering, scientific, or operations degree preferred.

    · Minimum of 5 years of executive level operational experience preferably in capital equipment manufacturing, assembly and testing. 10+ years as a multi-site Director of Operations level or higher experience is preferred.

    · Operating footprint optimization experience is required.

    · Exemplary track record in driving results using 80/20 and Lean principles in manufacturing, as well as other parts of the value chain. Demonstrated obsession with a metrics focus a must.

    · Demonstrated success managing to forecast and to operating budgets and plans a must. P&L experience is preferred.

    · Exceptional executive presence, business acumen and presentation skills.

    · Dynamic, positive leadership style and an articulate and effective verbal communicator. Track record of developing 'followership' vs. being a directive, top-down manager. Ability to attract, develop, coach, mentor, motivate, manage, and retain key talent.

    · Ability to work well in a fast-paced, multi-cultural and global team environment, under tight deadlines.

    · Strong problem solving and time management skills; a results-oriented work ethic, and ability to work alone with limited direct supervision.

    · Ability to lead by example. High degree of integrity and conviction to getting the job done.

    · ERP/MRP knowledge a must have.

    · Extensive national and global travel required.

    · Experience and/or familiarity with ISO 9001 preferred.
