Location: Tallahassee, FL 32310

Job Type: Full-Time Day Shift – days and times to be determined.

Salary: $62,171-$82,701/year based on experience

We are seeking a skilled Echo Tech to join our team in Tallahassee, FL. The Echo Tech is responsible for obtaining diagnostic cardiac ultrasound images using various modes and techniques. This position requires proficiency in echocardiography techniques and the ability to assist physicians during Transesophogeal Echos. The Echo Tech will prioritize patient flow, demonstrate effective safety practices, and maintain positive relationships with colleagues and medical staff.

Responsibilities:

• Perform diagnostic cardiac ultrasound imaging in M mode, color flow Doppler, and two-dimensional mode, with and without contrast.
• Assist physicians during Transesophogeal Echos.
• Prioritize and organize patient flow for optimal efficiency.
• Demonstrate sound knowledge and proficiency in diagnostic echocardiography techniques.
• Provide high-quality services and maintain effective safety practices.
• Establish and maintain professional relationships with colleagues, other departments, and medical staff.
• On-call rotation required (frequency to be determined)

Qualifications:

• Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification.
• Associate degree or Certificate in a related field.
• Registered Vascular Technician (RVT) or Registered Vascular Specialist certification.
• Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS) or Registered Cardiac Sonographer (RCS) certification.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in the field (preferred).
• Must be fully vaccinated for COVID-19 unless a medical or religious exemption is approved.
