We are seeking an experienced Industrial Hygienist/ Environmental Scientist to join our Woburn MA Office This position would be working within our Building Sciences and Industrial Hygiene business within our Environmental Sector Current or prior certification as an Asbestos Inspector and Project Monitor is required Responsibilities include Inspection for asbestos Mold Lead-based paint and PCBs Water intrusion investigation and or water leak investigation Perform project oversight and coordination with contractors Collect air samples as required by various regulatory agencies Prepare project chain of custody Prepare project daily logs Interact between client and contractors Work with regulatory agencies Read project specifications drawings Prepare reports Travel throughout Massachusetts New England region expected Qualifications include 1-10 years of experience in hazardous building materials indoor air quality industrial hygiene industry Current or prior certification as an Asbestos Inspector Project Monitor Minimum of Associate-s Degree in Science Engineering related field Must have prior experience in various aspects of abatement projects Strong verbal communication skills Adaptability flexibility to various work schedules situations related emergency response scenarios Intuitive creative thinker Understanding surroundings reason services being provided Consultative demeanor ability to work with customers clients offers solutions when needed Ability to carry climb ladders use hand power tools Be able to wear respirator safety harness other safety equipment as needed Must pass pre-employment background check drug screen physical motor vehicle records check Valid Driver-s License required Benefits include Medical dental vision disability insurance 401k package Paid time off contingent upon full-time part-time status level seniority ranging from 15 to 25 days per year All full-time employees enjoy minimum of eight Paid Holidays per year TRC ensures that all employees including those that work part-time receive paid sick family disability leave in accordance with laws their state residence These benefits applicable US employees depending employment status full time part time temporary TRC offers jurisdiction specific benefit packages International Puerto Rico employees Compensation will vary based upon experience education skill level geographical location other compensable factors Employee may eligible participation Company-s annual Discretionary Bonus Program which contingent on Company Business Segment Individual performance against Key Performance Indicators vary by year employee TRC Equal Opportunity Employer We do not discriminate on basis race color religion sex sexual orientation gender identity national origin age disability veteran status any characteristic protected by applicable law All employment decisions made qualifications merit business needs We celebrate diversity committed creating inclusive environment all employees.
