    Description

    Twin City Staffing is hiring electrical / mechanical assemblers for local and growing manufacturing in the Brooklyn Park area. In this electrical assembler role, you'll be responsible for wiring various control panel products.

    Location: Brooklyn Park, MN

    Wage: $20 - $28/hr.

    Hours: 6 am - 3:30 pm, Monday - Friday

    Responsibilities of the electrical / mechanical assembler:
    • Wire various control panel products
    • Install electrical components
    • Interpret electrical schematics/diagrams
    • Cut, strip, crimp and wire various AWG gages per print with high degree of accuracy
    • Mount components to panels or equipment
    • Use electronic and pneumatic tools for assembly
    • Understand and utilizes various engineering and manufacturing documents including Bills of Material, assembly drawings, assembly instructions, wiring schematics and diagrams
    • Assist in other areas of manufacturing as needed; shears, press brakes, drill press, saw, manual punch and other fabrication equipment
    Qualifications of the electrical / mechanical assembler:
    • Lifts 30 lbs. repeatedly and 75 lbs. occasionally
    • Stands 90% of the shift
    • Frequently bends, twists, squats and lifts with arms extended
    • Associate technical degree preferred
    • Minimum of 3 years related experience
    • Add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, proportions and decimals. Ability and understanding of various measuring devices in meeting drawing dimensions and specifications
    • Read and interpret documents such as blueprints, schematics, wiring diagrams, sketches, layouts, work orders, work instructions, diagrams, safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals
    • Good verbal and written communication skills are necessary
