    Job Description:
    We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Director of Operations to join our team at Velox Clearing. As a correspondent clearing firm, we provide essential services to financial institutions, including trade execution, clearing, settlement, and custody.

    The Director of Operations will play a pivotal role in overseeing and optimizing our operational processes to ensure efficiency, accuracy, and compliance with regulatory requirements.


    Responsibilities:
    Oversee day-to-day operations of the correspondent clearing firm, including trade processing, settlements, reconciliation, and client services.
    Develop and implement operational policies, procedures, and controls to enhance efficiency, mitigate risk, and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
    Manage a team of operations professionals, providing leadership, guidance, and mentorship to drive performance and development.
    Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including compliance, risk management, technology, and business development, to support strategic initiatives and business growth.
    Monitor industry trends, regulatory changes, and best practices to continually enhance operational effectiveness and adapt to evolving market conditions.
    Serve as a key point of contact for clients, addressing inquiries, resolving issues, and maintaining strong relationships.

    Requirements:
    Bachelor's degree in finance, business, or a related field. Advanced degree preferred.
    Series 24 license required.

    Minimum 5 years of experience in operations roles within the financial services industry, with a focus on correspondent clearing or related areas.

    Strong understanding of securities regulations, compliance requirements, and industry best practices.
    Proven leadership experience, with the ability to motivate teams, drive performance, and foster a collaborative work environment.
    Excellent communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with clients, senior management, and cross-functional teams.
    Analytical mindset with a focus on process improvement, problem-solving, and risk management.
    Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities effectively.
