Job summary
The Warehouse Automation Technician assesses mechanical, pneumatic and electronic controls as needed to optimize operations, material handling systems and overall building conditions in SanMar distribution centers.
Responsibilities
- Maintain facility systems including conveyors and related control systems (photo eyes, solenoids, light beacons, scanners etc.). ,
- Replace bearings rollers bands conveyor belts gear box motors air valves lace track conveyor belts etc.. ,
- Supervise Facilities employees in DC direct work provide training as needed review schematics troubleshoot basic panel indicators utilize manuals troubleshoot scanners ez-logic VFDs encoders print apply solutions etc... ,
- fault conditions motor overload e-stop power supply faults etc... Work closely with IT DSaP staff DC staff Vendor Support Service providers diagnose address concerns communicate status resolutions appropriately train on MHE loading unloading processes orientation quality control rates define execute training programs maintenance personnel operators create quality documentation system functionality preventive maintenance programs maintain inventory spare parts manage warranty replace repair issues system log tracking comply applicable laws regulatory requirements maintain HAZMAT records perform other duties assigned comply policies standards.
