Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve meals following established recipes and dietary guidelines, ensuring consistency and quality.
- Assist with menu planning by suggesting new dishes and accommodating special dietary needs.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen and dining areas in compliance with food safety standards.
- Handle food with care, demonstrating proper knife skills, food handling techniques, and cooking methods.
- Support catering events by preparing large quantities of food and ensuring timely delivery.
- Provide excellent customer service by serving guests efficiently and addressing their dietary preferences or concerns.
- Follow all food safety protocols, including proper storage, sanitation practices, and temperature controls.
Requirements
- Previous experience in dietary departments or as a dietary aide is highly preferred.
- Proven experience in food preparation, cooking, or restaurant service within the food industry.
- Strong knowledge of menu planning, meal preparation, and food handling procedures.
- Familiarity with fine dining standards or catering environments is a plus.
- Excellent knife skills, attention to detail in food presentation, and ability to work efficiently under pressure.
- Commitment to maintaining high standards of food safety and sanitation practices.
