As a Tax Senior, your primary responsibilities will consist of taxconsulting and tax return preparation duties, including tax research, taxplanning, and the preparation of supporting work papers for various tax returnsand tax related projects.
You will work with a variety of entities suchas corporations, partnerships, estates, trusts, and non-profits. In addition,you will be exposed to a variety of industries including real estate, consumerindustrial products, service-based companies, and not-for-profits. Youwill manage staff & review their work for all projects.EMPLOYMENT STATUS

RESPONSIBILITIES
Prepare & review tax returns for pass-through entities,C-corporations, trusts, and high-net worth individuals
Assure compliance with federal, state and local tax laws andregulations
Conduct research and planning to resolve client issues accordingto applicable tax laws and regulations
Basic understanding of U.S. tax laws as it relates to ownership offoreign entities by a U.S. person.
Minimize tax liability through sound and informed application oflaws and regulations
Respond to notices from tax authorities
Direct client contact involving income tax matters, transactionalconsulting, tax research, and compliance.
Ability to anticipate client questions and is prepared to respondwith practical solutions than can be implemented
Advise, guide, coach and provide encouragement to team members
Train & manage staff
Assign work to preparers and follow up on their progress
Complete assigned projects in a timely manner and keep supervisorsapprised of job status
SKILLREQUIREMENTS
Outstanding organization and project managementskills
Ability to work independently and coordinating priorities with thehelp of more senior members of the team
Team player and can collaborate with other individuals in theorganization
Highly motivated and takes initiative forprofessional growth and development
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Power Point, especiallyExcel)
QuickBooks and ProSystems experience is a plus
High level of interpersonal skills with demonstrated poise, tact,and diplomacy
Excellent communication skills, written and verbal, with theability to clearly communicate issues to all levels of management
Positive attitude and excitement to learn
Ability to travel to client locations, which mayinclude occasional overnight stays
Ability to work overtime, as needed
QUALIFICATIONS
2-5 years of prior experience in public accounting
Must be legally authorized to work in the UnitedStates on a full-time basis upon hire
