Job summary: As an Archivist you ll work hands-on with legacy collections of all sizes collaborating with clients and team members to process preserve and unlock the value of historical assets through conducting collection assessments content surveys organizing processing archival materials performing descriptive cataloging applying metadata standards writing clear accessible finding aids recommending selecting assets for digitization applying preservation best practices conducting in-depth research distilling findings into concise briefs learning client histories championing archival recommendations in a consultative role You ll balance speed accuracy navigating multiple projects clients deadlines with professionalism poise Research Client Services Responsibilities including providing specialized archival research support across wide range of client projects industries conducting thorough reference interviews prioritizing delivering multiple concurrent research requests collaborating departments internal teams external partners translating research findings clear summaries insights recommendations.
