    The responsibilities include but are not limited to: Communicates project technical needs to Operations Manager.

    Understand and support engineering documentation.

    Understand/ use specifications for electrical/mechanical systems & components.

    Design, test, and analyze electrical/mechanical systems & components in order to ensure compatibility & compliance.

    Provide mechanical feedback to engineering support throughout full cycle of project.

    Ensure production is being performed in compliance with customer specifications, industry standards, company policies, and contract timeline.

    Supervise production employees.

    Schedule, Organize & Assign production procedures according to daily needs.

    Make sure that work is being executed according to safety and quality policies.

    Escalate any non-conformities regarding to safety and quality on the shopfloor.

    Animate daily/weekly/monthly routines with manufacturing team.

    Deploy and sustain 5S standards on the shopfloor.

    Discipline, couch, mentor personnel if needed.

    Meet production deadlines.

    Ensure production is proceeding in most efficient & cost-effective manner possible.

    Allocate & schedule appropriate production resources.

    Synchronize materials orders with materials usage.

    Assess production resources & output & make improvements where necessary.

    Monitor and measure production progress and efficiency (daily).

    Provide daily status reports/feedback to Manufacturing Manager / Operations Manager.

    Follow direction of Manufacturing Manager/ Operations Manager.

    Perform additional duties as needed.

    Adhere to company policies & procedures.

    Education Required:

    Graduate in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent technical background.

    Languages:

    Fluent in English.

    Skills & Knowledge:

    Minimum of 5 -10 years of experience in a manufacturing environment are required, ideally related to the rolling stock - railway Industry.

    Intermediate to Advanced EXCEL and SAP.

    PMP certification or equivalent (preferred).

    Good collaboration and communication skills (written and verbal).

    Experience working in a matrix organization.

    Intercultural experience and collaboration with international team players.

    Knowledge of Earned Value Management.

    The preferred candidate will have a background in rolling stock manufacturing, maintenance, or another rail-related experience.
