- Manage specific processes, including capital projects.
- Lead project management activities from scope development to project commissioning.
- Oversight of contractor work on site.
- Identify and implement continuous improvement initiatives.
- Champion plant safety, quality, and operations initiatives.
- Develop/update SOPs and work instructions.
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering.
- Experience in food plant manufacturing is a plus.
- Demonstrated commitment to safety and understanding of Quality and Food Safety.
- Strong critical thinking, communication, and collaboration skills.
- Ability to manage contractors and work in various environmental conditions.

Position Summary:
The Hutchinson, KS Protein manufacturing facility is in search of a skilled Process Engineer to enhance and optimize processes utilizing historical data and standardized continuous improvement methods. The Process Engineer will collaborate with various functional areas including operations, maintenance, EHS (Environmental Health & Safety), and QFS (Quality & Food Safety) to drive improvements through project execution. This position will involve working closely with Division Engineers and Performance Excellence colleagues.
