    Job Description & Requirements

    • Shift: 8 hours, days, evenings

    SHIFT NOTES: 11AM-8PM; SAT/SUN EOW 3-11:30; WEEKS WHERE THEY WORK WEEKEND, THEY'D HAVE 1 WEEKDAY OFF

    Required Certifications

    ARRT, BLS Certification, Certified CT Technologist - ARRT (CT), California Fluoroscopy license 

    Department Overview

    • Number of scanners/rooms: 3 scanners
    • Floating requirements: Must cover X-ray and CT
    • Types of imaging/studies performed: Head, abdomen, pelvis
    • Assist with procedures: No

    Experience Requirements

    • GE scanner experience preferred
    • Must be flexible and adaptable
    • Open and willing to work with department needs

    Daily Volume

    • Average number of scans/studies per day: (Not specified)

    Systems & Equipment

    • EMR/PACS: Centricity (for tracking)
    • Equipment Brand: GE

    Staffing Structure

    • Lead Tech available 24/7
    • No Registered Radiology Assistants (RRAs)
    • Radiologist in-house until 6:00 PM
    • After 6:00 PM, studies sent to external radiology
    • Two techs scheduled at all times
    • Would not be the only tech in-house

    Clinical Responsibilities

    • IV starts required: No

    Scheduling

    • Manager creates the schedule
    • 8-hour shifts
      • Start times: 8:00 AM, 3:30 PM, 11:00 PM
    • Every other weekend required
    • Holiday flexibility required
    • No call or standby requirement

    Dress Code

    • Ceil blue scrubs
    • Not provided (hospital has some available if needed)

    Orientation

    • Unit tour
    • One week of training

    Guaranteed hours: 40 hours per week

    Cancellation Policy: 2 shifts per assignment
