    00 DescriptionOverview of the Position: 40 Hr week Industrial Engineer assist with Continuous Improvement projects in Assembly area weeks depending on availability Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Analyze Assembly operations, production workflow & production processes Work with Assembly Lead to understand steps, equipment/tooling, workflow, JobBoss production packagesAssist Assembly Lead with Job Creation in JobBoss Document Job Creation processWork closely with assembly team to ensure departmental goals are achievable Create project plan to ensure worker safety, increase efficiency, and eliminate waste in the manufacturing processesCreate Production Schedule dashboard & Production team metrics reporting systemReport weekly on project plan progressOther Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:Safety mindsetKnowledge of production processes and standards, production machineryPrevious work experience, or recent studies related to Industrial Engineering Good oral/written communication skillsQuickly learn manufacturing software (JobBoss)

    Excellent attention to detail and troubleshooting abilityAbility to present a professional demeanor and work habitsComputer skills using Windows and MS Office SuiteEducation / Experience Requirements:
    Concurrent enrollment in university courses Engineering discipline preferred
