    Summary

    You will serve as a SECURITY SPECIALIST (CBRNE) in the Installation Protection Branch, Operations and Plans Division of MARINE CORPS BASE.

    Duties
    • You will perform training needs analysis, recommend training, and develop the fiscal year CBRNE training, exercises, and drills.
    • You will compile and develop fiscal year training schedules for review and approval by the MCIEAST regional CBRNE PM.
    • You will review, update, and generate CBRNE training materials for all CBRNE/Hazardous Material (HazMat) instruction and provide input annually to
      the Marine Corps Installation Command (MCICOM) Course Curriculum Review Board.
    • You will develop and conduct training for CBRNE response to include technical analysis, design, development, implementation, evaluation, verification, and validation of the training program.
    • You will provide support as needed in developing and providing additional training to installation emergency response personnel in regard to the care, use, and basic maintenance of issued CBRNE equipment.
    • You will provide technical support for the MCIEAST CBRNE Installation Protection Program for CBRNE detection, decontamination, and personnel protective.

    Qualifications

    Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-09 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Served as a Chemical, Biological, Radiological, Nuclear, and High Yield Explosives Training Manager and assists in the development of the Hazardous Material (HazMat) training that includes training, planning, development, execution, and post training assessment support of the CBRNE training, exercise, and drills.

    Successfully completed a Ph.D. or equivalent doctoral degree.

    Successfully completed 3 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree.

    Have a combination of experience and education as described above that equates to one year of experience. The percentage of the required education plus the percentage of the required experience equal one hundred percent.
