    Job Description

    Job DescriptionKick off your mornings by joining our team as a Material Handler/Forklift Operator in our open warehouse setting. This hybrid role is perfect for those who are dynamic and thrive in a fast-paced environment. Starting your shift at 6:00 AM and concluding at 2:30 PM, Monday through Friday with opportunities for overtime, you'll be at the forefront of our operations, handling various materials and operating forklifts to keep our recycling processes smooth and efficient.
    Activities
    • Operate sit-down and clamp forklifts to manage materials effectively around the warehouse (training provided for clamp operation).
    • Support sorting operations by assisting with the movement of electronic products like phones, TVs, computers, and gaming systems.
    • Participate in various warehouse duties, stepping in to help sorters or performing other tasks as needed.
    • Maintain a clean and safe working environment, adhering to safety standards and organizational protocols.

    Requirements
    • Capability to operate a sit-down forklift; previous forklift experience is a plus.
    • No specific language preference; however, the ability to communicate effectively in a team that speaks English and Spanish is a plus.
    • Must be prepared to wear safety gear provided by the company, including steel toe shoes.
    • Work in an open warehouse environment that may have a mild mechanical shop-like odor.
    • Physical requirements include standing for extended periods, frequent bending, reaching, and the ability to lift and maneuver heavy objects.
