    Let's do this. Let's change the world. We are seeking an Automation/Integration Engineer to be part of the Safety IS product team. Your main responsibility will involve developing digital solutions by employing innovative and groundbreaking technologies.

    You will join a team in helping advance and build solutions for process simplification and building automation to advance our business for the global patient safety organization.

    Partner closely with business partners and specialists in their field to identify, champion, implement automation and API solutions.

    Analyzes current business operations to pinpoint opportunities for automation and integrations including the application of machine learning (ML) and artificial intelligence (AI) to develop intelligent automations.

    Responsible for development of rapid Proof-of-Concept (POC) automated solutions and integration, promptly assessing their feasibility.
    Addresses and resolves issues with solutions to maintain uninterrupted business operations.
    Stays informed of emerging trends and technologies for development.
    Offers mentorship and support to business users for automated solutions.
    Lead automation efforts from design, development through to testing, scaling solutions as needed.
    Develop reusable modules to expedite project delivery.
    Collaborate with other automation and integration engineers to transform operational challenges into measurable projects with real impact.

    Basic Qualifications:
    Master's degree
    OR
    Bachelor's degree and 2 years of directly related experience
    OR
    Associate's degree and 6 years of directly related experience
    OR
    High school diploma / GED and 8 years of directly related experience

    Preferred Qualifications:
    Strong written and oral communication skills to optimally communicate within the organization.
    Experience working with Agile development methodologies (e.g., Sprint and Scrum), and DevOps practices.
    Experience with JIRA.
    1 year experience using AI (Artificial Intelligence) and Machine Learning (ML).
    Knowledgeable about Gen AI technologies such as ChatGPT or Microsoft Copilot.
    Proficiency in one or more programming/scripting languages JavaScript, Python etc.
    Experience with SQL and relational databases such as Postgres SQL, PLSQL, SQL Server.
    1-2 years of experience in designing, developing, deploying, and operating end-to-end automated solutions/platforms across SaaS, Cloud, and On-prem.
    Experience in building various machine learning models.
    Some experience in automation software platforms (e.g., UiPath, Automation Anywhere, PowerAutomate, etc.) is required.
    Experience with AWS Services like EC2, S3, Redshift/Spectrum, Glue, Athena, RDS, Lambda, and API Gateway is a plus.
    A strong customer service focus and ability to build effective working relationships with team members, customers, and management.
    Outstanding collaboration skills across all levels of the organization.
    Confidence in raising action points with senior individuals, with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
