Job Summary

Marietta Country Club is looking for Seasonal Full-Time and Seasonal Part-Time positive, energetic, and team-oriented Beverage Cart Attendants. The ideal candidate for this position must be detail-oriented, enthusiastic, and friendly.

This individual will prepare, pour, and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, anticipating and providing immediate attention to members and guests.

This role is eligible for TIPS/COMMISSION

Job Duties And Tasks

Welcomes and acknowledges all attendees, providing immediate attention to members and guests before, during, and after events.
Inspects the beverage cart prior to opening to ensure that adequate supplies are available.
Stocks beverage carts with inventory from Club cooler and food items from dry storage.
Requests additional supplies as necessary and stocks the cart.
Follows set-up procedures.
Prepares garnishes, fruits mixes and pre-mixed drinks prior to driving the course.
Greets members and guests.
Mixes, prepares and serves drinks to members and guests according to approved standard recipes.
Enters and collects payments for drinks and food items purchased.
Reports complaints to a manager as they occur.
Maintains and cleans beverage cart and equipment.
Maintains records of liquors, beers and wine to ensure bar stock are maintained at all times.
Maintains a clean working environment, to include daily maintenance and cleanliness of beverage cart.
Unloads the beverage cart items putting inventory away in storage areas according to prescribed closing procedures.

Assists golfers by taking beverage and food orders and by preparing, pouring, and serving beverages and/or food according to Club protocol.

Maintains cleanliness of work areas throughout the events.
Speaks using clear using professional language and appropriate etiquette.
Advises supervisor of any member/guest complaint as soon as they occur.
Assist in closing functions by removing stocked cart items and returning to the liquor room before ending shift.
Verifies inventory throughout shift to account for all purchases and restocking.
Assists as needed in other food and beverage areas on or near the golf course.
Interacts professionally and respectfully with the public, coworkers and others in the course of daily work.

Requirements

Must possess knowledge of all aspects of mixology.
At least one year of bartending experience in a high-end restaurant, hotel, or country club is required.
Ability to maintain excellent attendance and punctuality each workday.
Must have an engaging personality with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally with members, guests, and coworkers.
Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
Must dress professionally and follow the Club dress code at all times.
Must be available to work a flexible schedule.
Must be able to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Must have dependable transportation.
Must pass a pre-employment background screening.
Possess the ability to lift up to 35 lbs. as needed.
Must be a self-starter and work independently with the ability to maximize use of time and resources.
Possess and utilize basic math skills.
Knowledge of menu items.
Knowledgeable of computer operations including inputting orders and ordering procedures.
Knowledge of golf course etiquette.

This position is Seasonal Full-Time and Seasonal Part-Time and works evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays.
