- Ensure accurate records and documentation for inventory costing.
- Compile product costs, including direct labor, direct materials and overhead.
- Lead planning, reporting, and analysis of standard product costing. Updates standards when appropriate and identifies potential impact.
- Drive continuous financial improvement and introduce process control as needed.
- Works closely and collaboratively across multi-department teams to provide cost accounting support and resolve cost and inventory issues.
- Collaborate with Operations and Engineering to maintain accurate Bills of Materials (BOMs).
- Conduct account reconciliations and analysis, particularly focusing on inventory reconciliation and cost of goods sold.
- Investigate and report reasons behind significant variances, includes review of PPV, revaluation, repairs, and scrap.
- Utilize ERP system to effectively manage and analyze data.
- Advanced literacy with Microsoft office, especially Excel.
- Knowledge of fully integrated ERP system, preferred JDE
- Strong organizational, analytical and communications skills.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting
- Large ERP experience, preferred JDE
- 10+ years of cost accounting experience
- Sitting: Under 15%
- Standing: 15 to 40 %
