    Packaging Forklift Operator – Rotating 12 Hour Day & Night Shift - Waynesville - $20.00

    PrideStaff is recruiting for a Packaging Forklift Operator for Day & Night Shift - for a manufacturing company located in Waynesville.

    Duties and Responsibilities:

    • Transport supersacks from the plant to the warehouse
    • Transport pallets of bags from the palletizer to the warehouse
    • Follow packaging instructions for both supersacks and bags as defined in the SCR, or by management
    • Tie supersacks, as needed by production demands
    • Operate pallet wrapping machinery
    • Print pallet labels from the company system accurately, and on pace with production
    • Complete batch record paperwork as needed
    • Operate the super-sacker scales
    • Keep work area clean, and free of salt and debris
    • Operate both the automatic and manual wrappers
    • Perform basic trouble shooting for the label printer
    • Maintain an accurate and complete forklift safety log
    • Follow all safety procedures
    • Monitor alarm panel, and notify appropriate personnel, if alarm occurs
    • Maintain a stock of slip sheets and pallets, as needed
    • Keep the palletizer stocked with slip sheets and pallets

    Qualifications and Requirements:

    • Previous high-volume manufacturing experience preferred but not required
    • Strong attention to detail
    • Ability to read/write (English) and interpret numerical sequences and identify lot numbers
    • Good communicate skills
    • Ability to lift, push/pull up to 45 pounds consistently and stand constantly and work in repetitive operations.
    • The ability to be forklift certified
