    Job Summary: 13-week contract for a PRN Physical Therapy Assistant to join our experienced teams at our Assisted Living Facilities in the Fort Wayne, IN area, performing physical therapy treatments under a Physical Therapist's clinical supervision.

    Responsibilities:

    • Provide Physical Therapy treatments to patients according to treatment plans developed by the Physical Therapist.
    • Assist with tests, evaluations, and complex treatment procedures.
    • Record patient conditions, reactions, and responses related to treatment.
    • Maintain daily records and document progress notes.
    • Assist with consulting with family members, physicians, and other health care professionals.
    • Care for the Physical Therapy department and equipment.
    • Participate in in-service programs and meetings.
    • Maintain clinical currency through continuing education.

    Requirements:

    • Associate of Science degree in Physical Therapy Assistant.
    • Current license or eligibility for license under state statutes.
    • Prefer one year rehabilitation experience in a similar setting.
    • Prefer active membership in the American Physical Therapy Association.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Adequate computer skills for required job duties.
