Job DescriptionWe're looking for either a licensed investigator or retired law enforcement with at least 3 years on the job, willing to acquire his PI license.
We exclusively do surveillance assignments, often requiring a candidate to be patient and willing to work on foot in the woods, whenever the topography allows for such.
A candidate comfortable in the woods or having experience hunting would be an asset.
Candidates should live in the Central Maine area or close proximity.
The pay range is $35 to $45 hr. I will pay mileage, as well as travel time, to and from assignments. In addition to the hourly wage, we pay an extra hour a day for every 8 hours worked, to cover a brief daily update and final report.
A candidate will be hired as an independent contractor, possessing his own PI license, insurance and video camera.
There is potential to make a comfortable yearly salary, even though there may be slack time during the winter months. During the busy time of the year, one can usually work as many hours as they chose. This would be an ideal position for a retiree.

Investigators receive multi-day assignments requiring one to conduct surveillance of individuals that are claiming to be disabled or unable to work. We simply determine if their claim is legitimate through covert surveillance.
