+ Job summary: Offshore Rope Access Level III Superintendent supervises and executes rope access operations including inspections, upkeep repairs fitting welding blasting painting scaffolding and rigging tasks on offshore platforms.+ Qualifications: 2+ years direct offshore Structure and Pipefitter experience 5+ years experience as a Rope Access Level III Superintendent offshore Experience with fitting cutting and tacking of Structural & Pipe on an Offshore Platform Must successfully demonstrate the ability to pass a practical Structural and Pipefitter test Must possess an active SPRAT or IRATA Level III Certification Strong leadership and supervisory skills Ability to work at extreme heights Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing Ability to work in a team environment + Responsibilities:+ Develop implement rope access work plans risk assessments Supervise mentor Level I II III Rope Access Technicians Coordinate with other departments ensure seamless integration of rope access operations overall project objectives Understand drawings determine materials requirements task sequences Read interpret blueprint specifications Perform mathematical calculations addition subtraction multiplication division angles etc Measure cut fit install structural beams plate etc per blueprint job specifications Operate appropriate hand tools chipping hammers grinders etc Tack separately or combination using aluminum stainless steel cast iron carbon steel alloys Monitor fitting burning tacking processes avoid overheating parts warping shrinking distortion expansion material Assist building scaffold access all areas structure pipe deck Follow fitting procedures principles used in fabricating offshore jackets decks heliports production facilities Repair products dismantling straightening reshaping reassembling parts cutting torches straightening presses hand tools Inspect worksites obstructions holes causing structural weakness Verify conformance workpieces specifications squares measuring tapes Adhere safety procedures proper equipment inspection fall protection measures communication protocols Demonstrate knowledge skills SPRAT IRATA Rope Access Level III Technician Document communicate completed issues incidents Maintain climbing logbook SPRATIRATA guidelines Perform selfrescue maneuvers Identify mitigate potential hazards worksite ensuring safe compliant + Benefits Offered Earned Wage Health Dental Vision Insurance 401k Company Match Paid Holidays Vacation Life Insurance Disability Insurance Safety Awards Company Store Employee Assistance Program (EAP)
