The Customer Care Associate role is an exciting opportunity to play a key part in strengthening the human animal bond at one of the oldest animal welfare organizations in the country. The Customer Care Associate (CCA) is responsible for providing the highest quality customer care for all clients that visit email or call East Bay SPCA.East Bay SPCA is a 501(c)3 non-profit committed to the welfare of dogs and cats in Alameda and Contra Costa Counties. Our mission is to transform the lives of cats and dogs by enriching the human-animal bond through respected and accessible expertise.
Responsibilities include providing excellent client experience to all professional courteous timely manner assess triage client needs via email phone text introduce matchmake process adoptions attempt owner reunification serve as primary point contact review surrender forms coordinate evaluation appointments provide alternative resources maintain organized reception desk area lobby adoption hall clean donation bins remove trash recycling spot clean throughout day inform educate customers on responsible pet ownership general animal care within scope training deliver excellent customer service at all times facilitate conduct counsel returns surrenders interactions ensure monetary transactions accounted submit closing manager daily assist with training volunteers implement marketing efforts Dublin adoption center promote programs services visitors participate special events solicit donations assist animal care staff perform daily tasks data entry stray reports maintain inventory supplies assigned duties.
