    Medical ICU Registered Nurse Job Description

    We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our Medical Intensive Care Unit (MICU) team at Methodist Hospital Metropolitan. Our MICU is a 24-bed unit that provides care for non-trauma, high acuity medical and surgical patients.

    About the Unit

    • A patient-to-nurse ratio of 1-2:1

    Job Summary and Qualifications

    We are looking for a dedicated and experienced Registered Nurse who can provide high-quality patient care and work collaboratively with our interdisciplinary team to achieve quality patient outcomes. The ideal candidate will have:

    • A graduate degree from an accredited diploma, associates, or baccalaureate degree registered nursing program
    • A minimum of six months of clinical experience as a licensed Registered Nurse
    • Current Registered Nurse License in the State of Texas or Multi-State Compact License
    • Current American Heart Association BLS Certification
