Positions will be based at global Army training site in Orlando, FL. This position is contingent upon contract award.Devises sound cost effective strategies for purchasing materials.
Maintains relationships with suppliers and continually vets and scouts for additional vendors.
Evaluates spending operations, seeking ways to improve product quality and enhance timeliness of deliveries.
Regularly communicates with team to ensure the efficient flow of goods and services affecting performance.
Conducts cost analyses, setting benchmarks for improvements and develops risk management procedures to mitigate losses in case of product shortages.
Supervises the purchasing team and works closely with the the legal department to ensure favorable contract terms.Ensures stringent adherence to procurement guidelines, acquisition best practices, and contract management throughout the project lifecycle.
Access and utilize the WISE system to initiate and process purchase requests.
Guarantee compliance, optimal negotiation outcomes, and efficient project management throughout the supply chain and logistics operations.
Minimum Qualifications
10 years relevant experience with Bachelors in related field; or 8 years relevant experience with Masters in related field.
Ability to obtain NACI security clearance
