LANL RCTs implement radiation protection requirements and work independently on challenging projects requiring collaboration with multiple work groups. Radiological Control Technician 4 ($76,900 - $122,200)
As an RCT 4, you will provide direct support to field implementation of the Radiation Protection Program through the execution of radiological job coverage, workplace surveys, and documentation of radiological data.
In addition, you will assist and mentor less experienced RCTs in the execution of radiation monitoring, contamination control, emergency response, and the implementation of radiation work permits and other work documents.
Radiological Control Technician 5 ($92,300 - $151,000)
In addition to what was outlined at the RCT 4 level, you may serve as the primary Radiation Protection point of contact for assisting in job planning, coordinating resources, and resolving issues for radiological work activities.
You will also provide technical leadership of less experiences RCTs, ensuring compliance with radiological procedures.What You Need

Work Location : The work location for this position is onsite and located in Los Alamos, NM. All work locations are at the discretion of management.
Position commitment: Regular appointment employees are required to serve a period of continuous service in their current position in order to be eligible to apply for posted jobs throughout the Laboratory.
