DESCRIPTION OF DUTIES:
This position is responsible for building a local cloud-like system to support an engineering team.

A successful candidate will be able to work closely with IT, DevOps, and software engineering teams to build a solution tailored to their individual needs and use-cases .

SUMMARY OF REQUIREMENTS:
Hands-on experience with local virtualization systems such as VMWare, OpenStack, or OpenNebula
Experience with KVM/QEMU virtualization, network topology and VLANs, and storage systems
Experience deploying production systems and building monitoring systems and usage reporting
Experience integrating virtualization technologies into existing workflows
Experience with provisioning and configuration management technologies such as Ansible or Terraform
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or a related field or experience

This position is onsite in Redmond, WA, and not open to remote status at this time.

This contract position has a base pay range of $100 - $125 per hour and is eligible for benefits through the employing agency.
