    Description

    Make a difference in your community and help keep the nation safe. As a Border Patrol Agent (BPA) with U.S. Customs and Border Protection, you'll join a team of highly trained professionals who are dedicated to safeguarding our borders and protecting our country.

    The role involves detecting and questioning people suspected of violating immigration laws, as well as inspecting documents and possessions to determine citizenship or violations. You'll also be responsible for preventing and apprehending aliens at or near the border by maintaining surveillance from covert positions.

    To qualify for this position, you must have one year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the next lower grade level performing duties such as making arrests, enforcing laws, investigating crimes, utilizing intelligence information to track illegal operations, leading investigations of fraud contraband criminal activity threats to our nation
