    Description


    We are seeking an International Tax Manager to join our growing tax team If you are seeking to increase your tax technical skills, gain exposure to complex issues, and work with a strong team of experienced tax professionals, consider this role with our client.


    Responsibilities:
    Perform quarterly and year-end tax accounting computations timely and accurate, including calculations related to requirements under US Tax Reform.
    Ensure results are under ASC 740 and FIN 48 under US GAAP.
    Assist in the review of foreign entities' tax computations.
    Identify transactions that create and prepare calculations for Subpart F, foreign and previously taxed income.

    Identify transactions that create Section 956 deemed dividends, 986 currency gain or loss, and 78 tax gross-up and prepare calculations accordingly.

    Prepare work papers for U.S.-owned foreign entities.
    Maintain and enhance Company work papers relating to earnings and profits, foreign tax credit pools, and other tax attributes.
    Calculate current and projected U.S. foreign tax credit utilization and carry forward positions, along with
    Evaluate and identify international transactions to understand and communicate tax consequences, reporting obligations, and risks.
    Research technical international tax matters and prepare memoranda to document conclusions.

    Engage in special projects, including tax planning, mergers and acquisitions, provision, forecasting, tax audits, corporate initiatives, and identifying process efficiencies.

    Ensure all filing deadlines comply with the Company's Tax Calendar.
    Collaborate with other Corporate Finance/ Business group teams and effectively communicate tax initiatives.

    Qualifications
    Bachelor's degree in Accounting.
    CPA or MST preferred.

    Minimum 8 years of Tax Department work experience within a multinational company or Big4 firm including at least one year of recent direct international tax responsibility and 2 years supervisory experience.

    Proven knowledge of international aspects of U.S. taxation as well as foreign taxation.
    Excellent attention to detail and ability to highlight unexpected results.
    U.S. Citizenship or U.S. Permanent Resident status is required.
