Whirlpool is currently seeking qualified candidates for the role of Analyst Strategy Business Development This is an onsite role and will be located in Benton Harbor MI or our WOW studios in Chicago IL The Corporate Strategy team drives initiatives in four major areas Strategic Initiatives Competitive Intelligence Strategic Planning and Business Development M A Path to 10 Support the execution of the enterprise-wide path to 10 initiative aimed at achieving a 10 EBIT earnings before interest and taxes Contribute to workstreams focused on structural cost transformation complexity reduction and go-to-market optimization
Responsibilities
- Transformation Value Realization Drive the operational cadence of the transformation by managing weekly project priorities overseeing progress against the roadmap Act as a guardian of project health by identifying mitigating risks or issues before they stall progress Support weekly program reviews to ensure alignment proactively escalating bottlenecks risks to senior workstream leads Rigorously track financial operational value created by initiatives while highlighting any gaps in talent or tools necessary sustain transformation
- Analytical Problem-Solving Skills Use strong judgment problem-solving analytical skills both quantitative qualitative Analyze strategic growth opportunities Whirlpool work towards cracking case Understand required data sets complete analysis procure accordingly Utilize critical thinking evaluate ambiguous issues manage delivery timely well-triangulated analyses actionable insights
