- Master's degree in Nursing from an accredited program.
- Current certification as a Nurse Practitioner (NP) in Florida.
- Minimum of 1 year of clinical experience in primary care or a related specialty.
- Experience in managed care, case management, or care coordination preferred.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.

Overview: Medix is actively hiring for a Nurse Practitioner in the Port St Lucie, FL area. This position is a direct hire role.
Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive health assessments and develop individualized care plans for patients enrolled in managed care programs.
Monitor patient progress and adjust care plans as needed to promote optimal health outcomes.
Provide patient education and counseling on preventive care, medication management, and lifestyle modifications.
Collaborate with insurance providers to obtain pre-authorizations for medical services and medications.
Coordinate care transitions and facilitate communication between healthcare providers, patients, and caregivers.
Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance the effectiveness and efficiency of managed care services.
Requirements:
Compensation: Salary starting at $85,000+/year depending on experience, education & certifications; bonus opportunities available
