- 3 to 5 years experience
- Bachelors degree in accounting, finance or related
- Hands-on cost accounting experience
- Account reconciliations for inventory accounts
- Month-end close experience as related to cost accounting and inventory
- Validate and analyze cost of good sold
- Set the standard costs of manufactured goods
- Develop and analyze cost standards
- Various analysis related to inventory, cost, volume and profit
- Collaborate and advise management on appropriate costing based on financial analysis/data
- Manufacturing experience preferably automotive
- Very advanced excel skills
- Solid analysis skills
- Self directed
- Strong collaboration skills and the ability to work with cross functional teams
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

A great UHY client is seeking a Cost Accountant to join their team. The ideal candidate will have experience with cost accounting, inventory accounting, and manufacturing experience.
The Cost Accountant role will be in office for 4-6 months, but it will transition to hybrid after the initial training period. This is a client direct hire position.
