    Job DescriptionSr Design EngineerLocation
    • Dalton, GA on-site)
    Responsibilities
    • Utilize SolidWorks to design displays and fixtures for the Health & Beauty sector, aligning with client and account team input.
    • Collaborate with team members (account, design, engineering, project management, production) to ensure the accuracy and completeness of designs, then finalize print packages for manufacturing.
    • Ensure displays meet client specifications, are structurally robust, and optimized for production.
    • Develop 3D computer simulations of project components using SolidWorks.
    • Produce detailed 2D drawings containing all necessary dimensions, specifications, and annotations for efficient manufacturing.
    • Liaise with production teams and vendors to maintain product quality, streamline assembly processes, and manage workflow.
    • Engage in ongoing communication with production, sales, and clients to refine designs and meet evolving requirements.
    • Assist in creating planograms to present design concepts to clients and support the sales team.
    • Mentor junior engineers, imparting best practices and fostering professional growth.
    • Apply advanced problem-solving skills to devise innovative solutions.
    • Generate graphic art and sizing files using Adobe Illustrator to facilitate client artwork layouts.
    Requirements
    • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or related field
    • 5+ years of Design Engineering experience
    • 1+ year in Health & Beauty industry
    • SolidWorks experience, plus if SolidWorks certification
    • 3D CAD or similar design software experience
    • Proficient in understanding drawing, engineering, and industry standards
    • High level of creativity and problem-solving skills
    • Ability to work on multiple projects at once and multi-task
    • Flexibility to adapt to deadlines, changing schedules, unpredictable events, and a fast-paced manufacturing environment
    *** Pay: $75K-$120K (Compensation can vary depending on experience)
