    Position Summary: The Training Manager is to enhance the competencies of individual employees by designing and conducting training programs that will boost employee's workplace performance in alliance with company's core values. You will be responsible for performing training needs assessments, designing, and delivering curriculum and learning materials and for managing all phases of training interventions. Essential Functions:
    1. Day-to-day responsibilities:
    • Identify training needs for employees by evaluating strengths and weaknesses.
    • Identify training needs for the organization to be prepared to perform effectively.
    • Identifying future training needs and creating a curriculum to facilitate that training.
    • Search for gaps in training content and materials that need updating to generate higher productivity and safety among staff.
    • Build an annual training program and prepare teaching plans.
    • Prepare and deliver training courses including developing or overseeing the production. of classroom handouts, instructional materials, aids and manuals.
    • Present all training requirements or bring guest presenters as necessary.
    • Create a communication plan strategy for training offerings.
    • Encourage employees to participate and implement their learning from training opportunities.
    • Lead, teach, onboard, and evaluate new employees.
    • Prepare vendors training and workshops updates.
    • Using research, plan and implement training programs that will groom employees for the next step of the career path.
    • Track employee success and progress on training plans.
    • Communicate with management, trainers, and team members to ensure that all needs are met on all shifts.
    • Direct structured learning experiences and monitor their quality result.
    • Assess training effectiveness to ensure incorporation of taught skills and techniques into employees work behavior.
    • Periodically evaluate ongoing programs to ensure that they reflect any changes.
    • Implement training KPIs.
    • Prepare and present reports on training program KPIs.
    • Recruit and evaluate the trainers.
    1. Work and communicate with all managers and supervisors to give advice if needed and take in information and help with solutions to issues at hand.
    2. Promote a positive environment among production employees.
    3. Participate in and drive Lean initiatives throughout the company

    Work Environment: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently exposed to moving mechanical parts, vibration and cleaning solvents. The noise level in the work environment can be loud. It has a moderate to high demand for tight deadlines. This position will experience moderate interruption in workflow, starting and stopping for product changeovers. Physical Demands: The physical demands here are representative of those that must be met by employees to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk and listen. The employee is required to see color variance between products, perform tasks requiring manual dexterity, stand for extended periods of time and walk extended distances. Lift 50 pounds to shoulder height. Repetitive motion using wrists, hands, fingers, with the ability to feel and reach with hands and arms.
    • Continuous (6 to 10 hours per day) bending, pushing, pulling, climbing stairs, reaching, lifting and grasping.
    • Continuous (6 to 10 hours per day) standing and walking.
    • Continuous (6 or more hours per day) talking, teaching, and repetitive motion, hand/wrist movement.
    • Frequent (1 to 2 hours) working at a computer terminal.
    • Sensory requirements: good eyesight, normal hearing, and fluent in the English language
    Position Type/Expected Hours of Work: This is a full-time position. Days, nights, and hours may vary depending on production requirements. This position may require significant work hours beyond the normal workday based on the demands of the business cycle, customer volume of business. Travel: Travel is not regularly required for this position. There may be occasional vendor visits if needed.
