    Pay Rate: $21.25 per hour

    This position performs general office and administrative duties within the department with a focus upon quick responsiveness and accurate communication with departmental staff by personally performing the following duties, as well as demonstrating the GILA WAY.

    Essential Duties And Responsibilities

    • Promotes and provides excellent guest service experiences to both internal and external guest.
    • Answers/screens incoming telephone calls, takes messages, to transfers calls to appropriate staff members.
    • Develops correspondence, reports and memorandums ensuring accuracy completeness of communications.
    • Reviews all incoming and outgoing correspondence and mail enduing it is routed appropriately.
    • Inventories, and orders office supplies for departmental use.
    • Creates and processes requisition and purchase orders.
    • Assists in project management when needed.
    • Maintains a dependable work attendance record with extremely infrequent absences and/or lateness.
    • Performs other special projects and duties as assigned.

    Skills/ Requirements

    • High School Diploma or equivalent required.
    • Five (5) years of administrative or secretarial experience required.
    • Knowledge and use of general office equipment.
    • Must be proficient in writing to include grammar and spelling.
    • Ability to perform the GILA WAY which is as follows; Greet our guest, Interact positively with our guest, Listen actively to our guest, Appreciate our guest.
    • Must possess excellent guest service skills, strong telephone etiquette, and be a self-starter with the ability to follow-up and complete tasks in a timely manner with minimum supervision.
    • Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships as well as to gain the cooperation of guests and fellow team members.
    • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both written and oral.
    • Must have basic computer skills with Microsoft Office Suite software.
    • This position must have, or an ability to acquire within one year, an in-depth knowledge and through understanding of Enterprise Polices and Procedures, governmental regulations, and technical rules relevant to their responsibilities.
