    Job Overview:

    Our client is seeking a highly skilled and adaptable Product Manager to join their dynamic team in a fast-paced environment.

    The ideal candidate will have a 5+ years of experience in digital agile customer app development, with a strong focus on user experience, particularly within the retail industry or similar sectors such as Uber/DoorDash with delivery experience.

    The Product Manager is responsible for elevating and modernizing our customer, store and franchisee-facing experiences.

    As a Product Manager, you'll help in the development of new experiences that will not only transform the business but will shape our digital future.

    Product managers will define product strategy, and develop, launch, and enhance products and services that drive our business forward. You'll work closely with our software teams to define product requirements and coordinate resources from key stakeholders. You'll also be responsible for identifying and tracking KPIs as you build these amazing experiences.

    The ideal candidate is a highly organized individual with a passion for user experience and professional experience in building impactful and meaningful customer experiences.

    Responsibilities :

    30% Strategy & Planning

    Seeks to empathize with and understand the end user deeply and use that knowledge to determine the fastest path to deliver value
    Translates business goals and end user needs into product strategy; communicates direction and product priorities to the development team, other matrixed teams, and third-party partners
    Identifies goals, metrics and analytics to determine product value; continually makes recommendations and refinements to the product backlog based on learnings

    Contributes to product roadmap and backlog, assists in prioritizing features and initiatives based on user needs, business goals, and technical feasibility.

    Manages and grooms the product backlog; makes future decisions based on the value that will be delivered
    Defines user stories for development teams, ensuring alignment with product vision and goals.

    50% Delivery & Execution

    Works with user research and testing team to formulate, test and refine assumptions and hypotheses through user research and testing
    Creates, prioritizes and accepts user stories; incorporate them into release planning
    Works closely with development and QA teams, participates in agile ceremonies like standups and iteration planning sessions, product demo, and retrospectives to provide user insights and feedback
    Participates in user interviews, usability testing to understand user needs and pain points
    Assist with product testing of features, ensuring a seamless and user-friendly experience.
    Assist with the planning and execution of project tasks, including maintaining deliverables, tracking progress, and managing deadlines.

    Support the Senior Product Manager by analyzing user data, identifying trends, and creating reports to inform strategic decision-making for the subscription program.

    Condenses complex technical concepts into non-technical language for stakeholders

    20% Team & Stakeholder


    Work closely with the Senior Product Manager, engineers, designers, and other stakeholders to ensure effective communication and collaboration to drive value and identify and resolve impediments.

    Advocates for the end user and stakeholder by becoming associated with the product, empathizing with and understanding user needs
    Works with the product team to continuously assess progress, disseminate lessons learned, and understand next steps
    Participates in and contributes to learning activities around modern agile design and development core practices (communities of practice)


    Basic Qualifications:
    Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Computer Science or Engineering or a related field.
    3+ years of experience working in digital / agile product management
    Strong analytical skills with experience in data analysis tools.
    Excellent communication and collaboration skills with the ability to work effectively in a cross-functional team.
    Highly organized and detail-oriented with a proven ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.


    Preferred Qualifications:
    MBA or Masters degree preferred
    5 years of experience translating business strategy and analysis into consumer-facing digital products
