    Description

    Job Title: Track Laborer

    At Transtar LLC, we are proud to be a part of the country's industrial development since the late 1800s.

    We transport billions of tons of raw materials to manufacturing sites and finished products to market, as well as store and handle bulk commodities for hundreds of satisfied customers throughout the nation's industrial heartland.

    • Main duties include repair maintenance and performance of railroad tracks.
    • You will perform general labor duties that include construction rail using gas air tools.

    Responsibilities:

    • Lay out track sections for usage at a later time. Maintain cleanliness Maintenance tool storage area
    • Communicate with Track Equipment operators in performance track maintenance fabrication work

    Requirements:
  • A minimum one-year outdoor work experience is required High School Diploma or equivalent (GED) is required Railroad experience preferred Valid driver's license is required Full-time position working shifts various off days overtime 24 hours day seven days week including holidays Adherence safety procedures guidelines times Safety core value requires you wear safety protection such hard hats glasses hearing protection clothing boots metatarsal protection The position requires punctuality consistent attendance self-direction collaboratively team environment success operations .
