JOB SUMMARY:

The Radiologic Technologist is responsible for performing radiologic procedures by applying ionizing radiation safely to patients for diagnostic purposes, as directed by OMC credentialed radiologists and upon the request of referring providers.

This position works at a technical level requiring independent judgment, ingenuity and initiative and does not require constant supervision. Has knowledge and understanding of age-related care needs for pediatric, adult and geriatric patients. External contacts include patients, family members and physicians. Internal contacts include diagnostic imaging staff, nursing staff and management.
