    Job Description

    American Traveler is hiring an Interventional Radiology Technologist with at least 2 years of IR experience and extensive knowledge of thrombectomy devices and neuro procedures.

    Responsibilities
    Position is in the Interventional Radiology unit
    Work involves procedures such as TIPS, angioplasty, and thrombectomy for PE/stroke
    Extensive use of GE and Siemens equipment
    Responsibilities include both scrub and circulator roles
    Day shifts are 10 hours in length with weekend and on-call coverage required
    Candidates must be able to work independently in IR procedure rooms and take call for trauma cases
    Must pass Tele/ECG and medication test (specific to some campuses)
    Weekly orientation sessions held every Monday, except on holidays
    RTO (requested time off) must be presented at time of consideration
    A 6-month break is required for any previous employees before being eligible for consideration
    Parking may cost up to $43 per day
    No locals are accepted within a 50-mile radius unless approved on a case-by-case basis

    Requirements
    Minimum of 2 years experience in Interventional Radiology required
    MA Radiology License required if applicable
    Vocational or technical training in Radiologic Technology required
    RT ARRT registration required
    Strong neuro interventional experience highly preferred
    Proficient with GE and Siemens equipment
    Scrub and circulator experience necessary
    Extensive thrombectomy device knowledge required
    COVID vaccine plus booster and flu vaccination required (medical exemptions allowed)
