    We are a fast-paced manufacturing company located in Ontario, California and are currently conducting search for Quality, Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) administrator We follow both lean and 5-S principles in manufacturing and production.


    PRIMARY TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
    Ensures compliance with EHS national and international standards and legislation.

    Sets up and maintains controls and documentation procedures for EHS.
    o Injury and Illness Prevention Program (IIPP)
    o Health and Safety Policy, measurable Goals and maintain trend charts.
    o Emergency Action Plan
    o Coordinate Evacuation Drills
    o Hazardous Communication (GHS)
    o Lockout/Tagout Program
    o Personal Protective Equipment
    o Hearing Conservation Program
    o Respiratory Program
    o Greenhouse Emission Program
    o EPA (EVQ) Annual Report
    o Cal/OSHA Pressure Vessels permits
    o Heat Illness Prevention Program
    o Ca Prop65

    Quality :
    Blueprint Interpretation with GD&T, Basic knowledge on measurement tools/devices, Data and Information collection and statistical analysis (Cpk, PPk), Some PPAP knowledge (FMEA, Control Plans), Basic knowledge on ISO Standards

    Monitor other EHS Statutory & Regulatory Requirements for Customers
    o Respond to customer's Surveys and ensure the execution of corrective actions and compliance with customers' specifications for EHS.

    Conduct Bi-annual Site Risk Control Inspections.

    • This includes traveling to all sites to perform quarterly EHS audits to systematically tour work areas to detect and correct unsafe conditions and unsafe behaviors.
    • Issue corrective actions and completion of investigation corrective actions on time.
    Maintain and manages all safety related files and records

    Perform basic technical assignments in area of specialization.

    • Noise Level Surveys
    • Evaluate respiratory hazard and estimate level of exposure
    • Perform Respiratory Fit Test
    • Greenhouse Emission Calculation
    • Assess Ergonomic problems in the workplace
    Prepare and evaluate reports.

    Perform research in the resolution of technical concerns and/or problems.


    Track and control inventory of safety supplies and equipment and work with division managers to keep adequate safety supplies on-hand.


    Acts as the first point of contact for local and Federal OSHA, or Plant Managers, who have queries or issues on EHS matters.

    Respond to and assist in site emergencies.

    Investigate all accidents to determine the root cause and provide recommendations that eliminate or reduce future hazard or risk.


    QUALIFICATIONS:

    • Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) plus, or Educational focus on Environmental Health and Science or Occupational Health
    Knowledge/experience

    with OSHA programs including fall protection, machine guarding, hazardous materials, personnel protective equipment, electrical safety, fire


    Protection, hearing conservation program, respiratory protection program and toxic and hazardous substances


    2-4 years of experience on ISO14001 requirement preferably in manufacturing environment desired.


    Strong writing and communication skills required


    Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint is required.


    Good analytic and interpersonal skills.


    The ability to travel, which may include overnight stays.


    Bilingual in Spanish desired, but not required.
