RPh on the go is actively searching for a Pharmacy Technician willing to work inWest Henrietta, NY. This is a full time position, working Monday-Saturday schedule, days shifts. Duties:
Filling prescription items, adhering to State Board of Pharmacy regulations
Packaging medications for dispensing and delivery
Labeling products appropriately with cautionary or auxiliary labels
Participating in periodic inventory counts
Checking in drugs and supplies, stocking shelves, and removing expired items
Preparing medications, including compounding non-sterile formulations
Communicating professionally with internal and external customers
Processing returned medications for credit or destruction
Assisting in the training of new employees


Qualifications:
Experience in a pharmacy setting with medical terminology knowledge
Proficiency in computer operation and medication identification
Detail-oriented, goal-oriented, and a team player with effective oral communication skills
Active Pharmacy Technician License a plus
Long Term Care Experience a plus


Pay Rate:
$18+ based on experience
