The Service Manager will lead day-to-day service operations, elevate customer experience and drive profitable growth while maintaining uncompromising safety and craftsmanship.
- Lead the service desk: intake, triage and dispatch for break/fix T&M preventive maintenance and small projects.
- Buold maintain short interval schedules balance labor across emergency calls PM routes quoted work own weekly operational rhythms backlog WIP margins aging open POs closeout be face of our Service group key accounts set expectations keep proactive status close feedback loops scope price issue proposals manage NTE thresholds change orders work authorizations coordinate site access compliance requirements facilities partners GCs ensure documentation photos captured every call champion jobsite safety culture enforce LOTO energized work permits PPE tailboards ensure work meets NEC NFPA 70E local codes AHJ requirements maintain accurate redlines as built markups lead develop service electricians apprentices coach productivity craftsmanship customer care partner recruiting staff routes onboard new hires procedures tech safety training build succession plans skills matrices aligned call types lighting gear controls EVSE low voltage thermal scanning power quality etc own Service P targets portfolio forecast monthly quarterly performance standardize SOPs quoting scheduling invoicing reduce cycle time completion invoice track publish KPI response time first visit resolution labor productivity proposal hit rate margin customer NPS.
