    Responsibilities


    This Master's Prepared candidate will work to assess, design/develop, implement, and evaluate programs and initiatives at the unit level ensuring all regulatory requirements are met.

    The main areas of focus will include, but not limited to:

    staff education and professional development, practice standards review, onboarding/nurse residency coordination, competency updating, teaching/in-services, as well as monitoring and developing action plans to improve quality metrics.

    This candidate will also have an exciting opportunity to collaborate with other highly motivated educators within the Neuromusculoskeletal Service Department.

    The candidate must be able to demonstrate strong organizational skills as well as the ability to multi-task and adapt to changing priorities.

    Excellent interpersonal and communication skills is a must. Acute rehabilitation experience preferred. Master's degree required.


    Qualifications

    Bachelor's Degree in Nursing required. Master's Degree in related field in Nursing required; Master's Degree in Nursing Education (MNE) preferred.

    Three to five years RN experience in acute care setting preferred or equivalent combination of education and experience, Recent clinical and educational expertise in specialty area required.

    Registered Nurse with current New York State license required. Professional nursing certification in specialty area preferred.

    Pay Range


    Pay Range:
    $ $57.40

    Individual salaries will be determined within the job's salary range, and will be determined by considering factors including, but not limited to, market data, education, experience, qualifications, expertise of the individual, and internal equity considerations.
