- Takes pride and performs above average quality work
- Able to read and understand blueprints (all trades), legends, symbols, notes, one line diagrams, riser diagrams and determining scales on floor plans
- Skilled in planning, scheduling and organizing tasks effectively to meet project deadlines
- Maintains and stores all tools, material and equipment.
- Demonstrates the proper use and safe handling of all items in the field
- Proficient in the use of industry standard test equipment to test, troubleshoot and repair systems to ensure proper working conditions
- Possess the experience and skill level to direct and train apprentices in proper safety and work practices
- Maintains personal hand tools in compliance with Company Policy
- Able to work with live/energized parts and have the technical knowledge to do it safely if required
- Experience installing all raceways, PVC, EMT, GRC, M/C cable and flex up to 4"
- Able to make up joints in cables/conductors and trim out wiring devices
- Proficient in rigging, installing and terminating switchboards, panelboards, transformers, disconnects and motors
- Able to read and understand special systems drawings, fire alarm, security, access control, nurse call and IT.
- Must be proficient with all conduit bending devices - both manual and hydraulic
