    Job Description


    About Chem-MAP Project:


    The Eurofins BLC Sustainable Chemistry team works with chemical companies, manufacturers and brands and retailers across the leather, textile, synthetic and coatings industries to prevent harmful chemicals from entering the supply chain, protecting workers, consumers and the environment.


    The Role:
    To manage the Chem-MAP project and assume responsibility for the timely completion of all activities relating to client contracts.

    This includes, but not limited to, assessment of risk in chemical formulations, materials and consumer products, overseeing COSHH assessments and MRSL testing through the laboratory, organising audits, liaising with auditors and overall management of the project timelines.


    Main duties:
    Planning and overseeing client contracts
    Managing technical elements of the Chem-MAP programme
    Creation and maintenance of controlled documents
    Liaising with the testing department
    Organising audits, liaising with auditors and peer-reviewing audit reports
    Organising and managing correlation testing between Eurofins laboratories
    Developing new products and services within the Sustainable Chemistry family (for example, tools, audits, training).
    Forecasting of project revenue
    A key point of contact for ZDHC and wider chemical management services for Eurofins.
    Special consulting projects relating to chemistry on a case-by-case basis.

    Qualifications


    What We Are Looking For:
    Proven successful track record in project management
    Degree educated in chemistry, biochemistry or relevant subject area and proven experience in leather or textile supply chains and/or chemical industry (desirable)
    Demonstrates good problem solving, time management and organisational skills
    A driven, enthusiastic and confident individual with outstanding communication skills
    Demonstrates a self-motivated, resilient and above all positive approach with a can-do attitude
