    As a Storage Unit Manager, you will be responsible for the day-to-day operations of our storage facility. You will play a crucial role in maintaining a clean, safe, and customer-friendly environment while ensuring efficient and smooth operations. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, exceptional organizational abilities, and a customer-centric approach.

    Overview of responsibilities:

    Customer Service:

    • Greet and assist customers in a friendly and professional manner.
    • Address customer inquiries, concerns, and complaints promptly and effectively.
    • Maintain a high level of customer satisfaction through exceptional service.
    Facility Operations:
    • Oversee the daily operations of the storage facility.
    • Ensure the security and cleanliness of the facility.
    • Monitor access control systems and security measures.
    • Maintain accurate records of storage unit rentals and occupancies utilizing StoreEdge.
    Leasing and Marketing:
    • Manage the leasing process, including rental agreements, payments, and lease renewals.
    • Promote and sell storage units to potential customers.
    • Utilize effective sales techniques to meet occupancy and revenue goals.
    Financial and Administrative Management:
    • Assist in managing the facility budget.
    • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records using the company's management software, StoreEdge.
    • Process payments, issue receipts, and manage customer accounts.
    • Prepare and submit regular reports to the regional or corporate office as required.
    Maintenance and Repairs:
    • Assist in coordination of maintenance and repairs to ensure the facility is in optimal condition.
    • Schedule routine inspections and address any issues promptly.
    Compliance and Safety:
    • Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations.
    • Implement safety protocols and emergency response procedures
    Education and Training:
    Highschool diploma or GED

    Knowledge and Experience:
    • 2+ years experience working in Storage Facilitation required
    • Strong customer service skills.
    • Experience in StorEdge Software a plus
    • Knowledge of Fair Housing Laws
    • Experience in sales
    Skills and Abilities:
    • Reliable transportation
