The Code 51 White Collar (Machinery Controls) program is seeking a PLC Programmer to join us in Philadelphia, PA.In this role, you will design, maintain, and troubleshoot machines that use programmable logic controllers (PLCs), ladder logic code, Python, C#, and LabView as well as other related high level programming languages.

A typical day will include:

Develop and/or modify computer code in the following languages: C/C++; Java; C#; Visual Basic; MATLAB; and Simulink, as well as other related high level programming languages.

Perform shipboard software loads on Microsoft/Linux computers/processors VxWorks processors, embedded microprocessors, and circuit level firmware.
Support a range of integrated developer environments including, Visual Studio, NetBeans, and .NET Framework. Provide input to software team to develop requirements and desired functionality of the control system.
Document issues, faults, or deficiencies found during software or hardware testing.


Qualifications:

BS in Science, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering; additional years of experience may be considered in lieu of degreeStrong experience with Programmable Logic Controller (PLC), ladder logic code, C#, and LabView as well as other related high level programming languagesExperience in software development in engineering and/or control systems using C++, Microsoft .
